These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NLC Mortgage website and the services we provide, including payments for third-party report orders. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
About our services
NLC Mortgage provides wholesale mortgage lending services through approved mortgage brokers. We are a wholesale lender only and do not provide mortgage consulting, debt-reduction, credit-repair, or loan-modification services. Information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to lend, financial advice, or an offer of credit. All loans are subject to credit approval, underwriting guidelines, and applicable law.
Payments
During the loan process, brokers and borrowers may order third-party reports — such as property appraisals, broker price opinions, credit reports, and property valuations — that are required to evaluate and underwrite a loan file. Fees for these reports are collected online through our payment processor, Stripe.
- The amount charged and the report(s) it covers are displayed before an order is placed.
- Charges reflect the cost of the specific report(s) ordered for a loan file.
- By submitting payment, you authorize NLC Mortgage to charge the amount shown to your payment method.
Refunds and cancellations
Because third-party reports are ordered from outside vendors and work often begins immediately, the following applies:
- An order may be cancelled for a refund only if the third-party vendor has not yet begun work on the report.
- Once a report has been ordered and the vendor has started or completed the work, the fee is generally non-refundable, as the cost has been incurred.
- If you are charged in error, or charged an incorrect amount, contact us and we will review and correct eligible charges promptly.
To request a cancellation or refund, email info@nlcmortgage.com with your order details. We aim to respond to refund requests within a reasonable time.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this website and our services only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NLC Mortgage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
